I had a rear bicycle rack put on my bike, attached to seat post:
Then I took my bike in for a bike fitting. The bike fitter made quite a few adjustments - raised the seat, moved the seat back, handle bars adjusted etc. Now I need to get used to the changes.
With the changes made during the bike fitting, the mounting bracket for rear bike rack was hitting my thigh. So back to the Trek shop, and exchanged the rack for this one:
This rack was $15 more plus $8 rack part plus another $12 installation fee. C'est la vie! Hopefully this rack will do the trick. I'm using an Axion Robson LX Bag to carry my stuff on my rides and am thinking about buying the Axion rain cover:
Picked up my bike today, the new rack looks good and the Axion bag fits perfectly. Went for a ride to the Skyway Bridge Rest Area and put in 21 miles.
Rain Cover I am considering:
I getting out 4-5 times a week and doing 20-30 mile rides. Continuing to increase my weekly mileage. Roundtrip from the condo to the Skyway Bridge Rest Area is an 18 mile ride. My Fort De Soto loop is an 25-30 mile ride.
