My hill training is going back and forth over the new Pinellas Bay Way Bridge. On a 10-15 mile ride, I'm up to 5 round trips! On my way home after a 25-30 mile ride, I go over the bridge one time.
For head winds, I head out to Fort de Soto Park. I can usually count on riding into the wind on my way out, and then heading into the wind on my way back. Sometimes it feels like I'm always heading into the wind at Fort de Soto Park. That being said, I'm happy averaging 12 miles an hour on those rides.
