No rain. But we had a headwind that slowed us down
The numbers - 66.2 miles; riding time 6 hours 1 minute and 36 seconds. We started riding at 7:45 and checked into hotel at 3:45 (we took a few breaks); max speed 19.5 and average was 10.9 - the wind!
Hotel came with breakfast - I had 2 packets of original oatmeal and coffee. Then outside to pack my peanut butter sandwich and snacks.
Getting ready to start riding - Suzanne, me, Mary and Lorna
Nice homes along the Indian River
Indian River
Much of the day on U.S.1 - a shoulder to ride on but many cars
First SAG stop
Poor turtle trying to cross 2 lanes of traffic - hurry
Old Florida hotel on the route - dreamy
Pit stop in the middle of no where
Another welcome SAG stop - water and snacks - chips and cheese curds - I've had the taste of chips!
Dinner
Chef Ellen and Sous Chef Jude grilling porterhouse steaks for dinner.
Steak, kale salad, red peppers and avocado salad, mixed vegetables, sweet potatoes - great dinner. Thanks to the traveling chefs.
My plate
Tomorrow - 64 miles according to the cue sheet and then a day off in St Augustine. I'm thinking laundry, pool time, and hanging out time. Maybe wash the bike but not riding the bike anywhere.

Marilyn just emailed your blog address to me - are you tired of riding yet? Looks like a great trip!!!!!
