St Augustine to Fernandina Beach, FL - 58 miles

Nice bicycling day - sunny and not much wind.  A quickish ride, the ferry ride and nice bike path later in the ride helped.

Today's stats:

58.8 miles; max speed shows 44.7 (trust me - no way); average was 12.2; and total riding time 4 hours and 47 minutes.

I have no idea where that maximum speed came from.  But, we did ride through the 'Town of Neptune Beach' today!

We took a short ferry ride, $1.00 fare, across the St Johns river.

We're losing a rider today - Barb our riding mate from Tennessee flew home today. A fall and broken bone in upper arm.  Hoping she doesn't require surgery.
