Sunny but cooler today, low 60s when we started out. However we did have some wind today - crosswind/headwind and lots and lots of traffic.
The stats: average speed 12.2 MPH; max 19 MPH; 52.2 total miles; and 4 hours 15 minutes riding time.
Logging trucks, semis, speeding cars and sections of bumpy roads. The day began on a busy 2 lane highway, we had a short stretch on a less busy road and the second half was a super busy 2 lane road. Scariest ride ever.
Breakfast at the motel - 2 boxes of Cheerios, an orange and coffee
Off making peanut butter sandwich
Kathleen, Fran, Valerie and Linda
The quiet road today
First stop around mile 20
Valerie and Ellen
Fran
Mary and Jude leaving 2nd SAG stop
Donna pulling in - she missed a turn and rode an extra 10 miles - go Donna
I walked to Historic Downtown Conway
My goal - Rivertown Roasters on Main for a latte
Super cute coffee shop and great latte
Dinner - Cinco de Mayo - margaritas tonight
Mexican night, taco salad - chicken, rice and beans, salad, chips, guacamole
